The campaign sends its lone hero across a global conflict. You fight through jungle ruins, frozen outposts and secret labs under city streets. The route then climbs into skyscrapers before launching you onto a hijacked starship in deep space. Each location adds new enemies and hazards.
Combat mixes fast movement with careful positioning. Almost every part of the environment can be blown apart for cover or opened up for an ambush. Weapons are collected and upgraded, and each carries two distinct fire modes. Battle turrets, tanks and helicopters can be seized mid-fight to swing the momentum. Six playable characters grow their own skills, so your build shapes how each of the 12 boss fights ends. Beyond the solo campaign, team up in co op or face off in versus matches over a local network.
