How to Turn Off Adblock

Step by step guide on how to turn it off and back on again.

Why we have ads on our site

We completely understand — ads aren’t anyone’s favorite. But they’re what allow us to keep our content free, pay our staff, and continue improving your experience. Every ad you allow helps us do more of what you enjoy.

Some websites require ad blockers to be turned off before you can access their content — we don’t. But if you’d like to support us, this quick guide will show you how to safely turn off your ad blocker for sites you trust, including ours.

For Chrome users

To Turn Off:
  • Click the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner.
  • Select Extensions → Manage Extensions.
  • Find your ad blocker (e.g., AdBlock, uBlock Origin).
  • Toggle the switch off to disable it.
To Turn Back On:
  • Return to Manage Extensions.
  • Toggle the same ad blocker on again.

Tip: To allow ads on just one site, click the ad blocker icon next to the address bar and select “Pause on this site.”

For Mozilla Firefox users

To Turn Off:
  • Click the menu button (≡) in the top-right corner.
  • Select Add-ons and themes → Extensions.
  • Locate your ad blocker and toggle it off.
To Turn Back On:
  • Go back to Extensions.
  • Toggle the ad blocker on again to reactivate it.

Tip: You can also click the ad blocker icon and choose “Enable on this site” or “Disable on this site” for per-site control.

For Microsoft Edge users

For Microsoft Edge users: To Turn Off:
  • Click the three dots (…) in the top-right corner.
  • Go to Extensions → Manage extensions.
  • Find your ad blocker and toggle it off.
To Turn Back On:
  • Return to the Manage extensions page.
  • Toggle the switch on to enable the ad blocker again.

How to Pause Adblockers for one specific website

You don’t have to disable the whole extension. You can just pause it for one website: Click your ad blocker icon on the website you want to disable Adblocker. Select “Pause” or “Allow ads on this site.” The rest of the web will still stay ad-free.

Happy surfing!

Now that you know how to turn your ad blocker off and on, you can enjoy browsing websites with all their content unlocked. Remember — many sites like ours rely on ads to stay free for everyone.

By allowing ads on trusted pages, you help support the creators, writers, and developers who make the internet enjoyable and accessible. So browse freely, explore new content, and know that a few ads help keep your favorite sites running!
