Tank Chess turns chess-style planning into armored warfare. You command Light, Medium and Heavy Tanks, Tank Destroyers and Heavy Mortars on a 16x16 or 20x20 square board. The goal is simple: destroy the opponent's Command Tank, or move your own Command Tank to safety. Every turn you weigh range, firepower and armor before committing a shot. Fans of strategy games and tank battles will recognize the appeal of slow, deliberate action where one misplaced unit loses the match.
Battles play out on square boards, either 16x16 or 20x20. Each unit type has its own role. Tank Destroyers punish targets at long range, while Heavy Mortars and Heavy Tanks bring firepower that lighter vehicles cannot match. Light Tanks trade armor for reach across the board.
Obstacles sit across the battlefield and block lines of fire. Use them to flank, to screen your Command Tank, or to hold a defensive line. Destroyed vehicles do not vanish. Their wrecks stay on the board as new cover, so a rushed kill can shield your opponent later. That single rule makes every shot a decision with consequences.
Unit mix, board layout, positioning and shifting cover combine differently in each match. The result is a fresh tactical puzzle every time you set up.
