Sir John and Lady Mary travel through time into an ancient desert, where a genie orders them to carry out his wishes. They suspect he is hiding something, so they obey while they investigate. You send workers to clear obstacles, gather food and wood, repair buildings and restore ruined settlements. Every task costs time and resources, so a wasted trip can cost you the level. It blends time management with strategy and an adventure story across 53 main levels.
Each level gives you a camp, a set of workers and a timer. You assign them to chop wood, collect food, clear blocked paths and rebuild damaged villages. Order matters, because one road must often be cleared before a building can be repaired. Members of the group have their own abilities that help against enemies and tricky situations. John and Mary also learn to pilot a magic carpet, run errands for lesser genies and hunt down relics their master demands. Three mini-games break up the resource stages, and dozens of achievements track your progress. Expert, Normal and Relaxed modes let you pick tight timed runs or a slower pace. Earlier chapters include New Yankee 9: The Evil Spellbook and New Yankee 6: In Pharaoh's Court.
