Invaders roll into town and the Eagle base is in danger. In Battle City, you command a lone tank sent to stop them and protect the heart of the city. The story is light, but the stakes are clear with every shell that hits the walls around your base. Each stage drops you into a new map filled with brick mazes, steel barriers, rivers, and enemy patrols.
Gameplay is quick and tactical. You drive, shoot, and reshape the field by knocking out bricks while collecting power-ups that boost shots, grant shields, or freeze foes. Defend the Eagle while clearing all enemy tanks to finish the stage, and enjoy local two player co-op for tag-team strategies. A simple map editor lets you sketch custom arenas for endless skirmishes. Convenient save and replay functions let you pause progress and retry tight moments without fuss.
