In Ancient Battle: Rome, you take on the role of a Roman commander, leading your forces through pivotal battles of history. The game offers campaigns like Caesar's campaign in Gaul, culminating in the siege of Alesia, and the conflict between Julius Caesar and Pompey the Great, including the battle of Pharsalus. Additional campaigns are available for purchase, including 'Britannia' featuring Queen Boudicca's downfall at Verulamium, 'Germania' highlighting the Roman defeat at Teutoburger Wald, and the 'Pontic' campaign against Mithridates the Great. Each campaign presents unique challenges and requires strategic planning to achieve victory.
