Alien Cat Story drops a cat pilot onto an unknown planet after his flying ship crashes. Your job is to get him home. Run, jump and fight your way through levels, collecting the fuses the ship needs. Some stages switch to a top-down view, where puzzles block the path to the next area. Between levels the cat returns to the wreck and installs collected diodes. Every diode brings the repair closer to done. It mixes platform jumping with arcade combat and a space survival premise.
You control a cat who pilots a small flying ship. The crash strands him far from home, with no parts and no help. Each level asks you to move the cat forward on foot. Jump across gaps, dodge enemies and strike back when they close in. Items needed for the repair sit scattered through the stages, so searching pays off.
Some levels shift the camera to a top view. Here the challenge turns to puzzles, and solving them opens the route to the next stage. Enemies are not the only characters you meet. Allies also appear along the cat's path.
After a level, the cat heads back to the ship and fits the diodes he gathered. Miss too many and the repair stalls. Controls stay simple, so beginners and experienced players can both pick it up.
