Spades is a classic trick-taking card game where you bid, manage trump, and partner up to hit your contract and outplay the table.
In Spades, place your bid for tricks and coordinate with your partner to reach it. Follow suit when possible, with spades as trump that you cannot lead until they are broken. Track high cards, note how many spades are out, and time your trumps to capture key tricks. Avoid extra tricks to limit bags, protect a partner’s nil, and lead low to test coverage.
Tip: count every ace and king, and save a mid spade to break suits late and control the final tricks.
