Gin Rummy is a classic card game where you race to meld sets and runs before your opponent knocks.
In Gin Rummy, draw from the deck or the discard pile, then discard one card each turn. Meld sets of three or four of a kind, or runs in the same suit. Knock when your deadwood is low, or aim for gin with no deadwood. Watch the discard pile and note which ranks and suits your opponent keeps.
Tip: Hold flexible middle cards like 6, 7, and 8 early, then shed high deadwood as the round develops.
